TRAINING POLICY

The EFT Training company is certified by the Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques (www.AAMET.org). We are covered by Personal Liability Insurance with the Complementary Therapists Association. Summary of the insurance cover can be found at Complementary Therapists Association.

PRE-REQUIREMENTS

 

No previous experience is necessary to attend Level 1.  Level 2 and 3 students are expected to hold Level 1 or 2 certificates or equivalent.  EFT-Training retains the right to refuse entry to a student or terminate a student's training/certificate if they see fit or if they do not meet the standards of the AAMET.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY



A deposit of £/E30 is required in advance of Levels 1-3 and is non-refundable in the event of the student cancelling less than 21 days prior to the event. For cancellations over 21 days, the deposit can be transferred to another training session with EFT-Training. In the unlikely event that EFT-Training has cause to cancel on day 1 or 2, full monies will be refunded upon request. Full payment must be made in full no later than 7 days prior to the date of the course or students run the risk of not being admitted.

 

CONFIDENTIALITY

Anything personal discussed during training should be treated as confidential and respected by all. Confidential information should not be disclosed outside of the training group without permission of the individual concerned.

 

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

 

The aim is to deliver a professional training course but if you feel your training has not been to your satisfaction, please address your complaint to the AAMET details of which can be found here www.AAMET.org.

 

PERSONAL THERAPY


 

Students are expected to be willing to examine and work on their own psychological issues. By agreeing to come on this course it assumes that you agree to working on your own issues to enable the flow of healing, which is essential to being a good therapist. A reduction in the regular fee will be offered to students seeking help in this regard with Therapy4me.

 

INSURANCE

 

Before using EFT on another person, regardless of whether payment is received or not, students and graduates are encouraged to take out professional indemnity insurance either as a student or practitioner.

 

 

Level 1

This one day foundation course is open to all. It is recommended to get the best out of your training experience, that you have some knowledge of EFT. Reading material such as "EFT for Dummies" is a good starting point and will aid to your learning enjoyment. At the end of Level 1 training, students will be equipped to use EFT on themselves, family and friends.

Level 1 students should not attempt to treat psychotic clients or clients with severe mental health problems. It is highly recommend that students practice regularly to gain confidence and improve their skills before embarking on Level 2.  Students who have trained with with EFT-Training are welcome to attend any other Level 1 training for a retrain fee of £/E30, subject to availability.


Level 2

This level is for those who wish to learn how to apply EFT for a variety of situations. At the end of the course a Level 2 attendance certificate will be given. This certificate will be upgraded to Practitioner status after the student has passed a short multiple-choice exam and at least three case studies have been submitted to the EFT-Training company within 3 months following completion of training. The case studies will be assessed to determine suitability and confidence in using EFT before awarding Practitioner status. E-mail and/or telephone support is provided within this 3 month period to support students in achieving Practitioner status.

 

Your trainer will notify the AAMET of your new status but the student MUST register themselves with the AAMET to be acknowledged as an AAMET EFT Practitioner. They may also add MAAMET after their name. Members of AAMET must also agree to abide by the Declaration and Code of Conduct that can be found on their website.

 

If more than 12months elapses between Level 1 and taking Level 2, students will have to attend a Level 1 refresher course at a cost of £/E30.

 

To maintain Practitioner status, students are now required to earn 30hours CPD within 12 months and if treating clients, they must also undergo 6hours one to one supervision or 12 hours group supervision. Full details will be given at the time. Students who have trained with with EFT-Training are welcome to attend any other Level 2 training for a retrain fee of £/E50, subject to availability.


Level 3

Two day's learning masterful techniques to enhance skills. is for those students who are ready to take themselves to the highest level and/or would like to apply to train as an EFT Trainer. You will be supervised throughout and will have the opportunity to enhance your skills. If you agree to come on the course you will be asked what areas of work you would like to focus on and I will endeavour to incorporate this.

Students find this course the most rewarding and enjoyable as it consolidates prior learning as well as giving the opportunity to revisit any aspects that remain uncertain. There will be lots of practical exercises to get your teeth into. Students will receive a L3 Attendance Certificate and will be required to submit 5 case studies for approval. A Level 3 Advanced Practitioner certificate will then be awarded. The Level 3 Certificate is then maintained with yearly completion of CPD hours and Supervision.

 

Students who have trained with EFT-Training are welcome to attend any other Level 3 training for a retrain fee of £/E50, subject to availability. 

 

The EFT-Training company offers supervision/mentoring to groups or individuals at very reasonable rates.  This can be face to face, by email or Skype. Please enquire.
